The Museum will remain open during the entire renovation and will continue to offer free admission to ensure its service to the community.
The temporary Visitor Entrance and BMA Pop-Up Shop are now open! Enter the Museum from the west side of the BMA. Look for the tented vestibule and colorful banners leading the way. View the BMA Parking Map (PDF) for location details.
There's lots of art to see! Throughout the renovation, works from the collections listed below and special exhibitions in the Cone Wing and the Contemporary Wing will be on view.

If you are visiting to see a particular work of art or collection, please call Visitor Services at 443-573-1701 on the day of your visit to ensure it will be on view. In addition to renovating galleries, we continue to loan works and send traveling exhibitions from our outstanding collection to museums in the US and abroad.
*A traveling exhibition of works from the BMA's Matisse collection is on a year-long tour to Indianapolis, Minneapolis, and San Antonio from August 2013 through October 2014. During this time, visitors can see German Expressionism: A Revolutionary Spirit (through September 14, 2014).

Gertrude's is open throughout the BMA renovation! Patrons can enter the award-winning restaurant on the east side of the building through the Sculpture Garden or by entering the Gertrude's tent. Look for the colorful banners leading the way. The restaurant cannot be accessed from inside the Museum during construction. View the BMA Parking Map (PDF)
