Focus on Female Creativity

Help us celebrate the Baltimore Museum of Art’s 2020 Vision initiative and share the story of an artist, a caregiver, a frontline worker, a mentor, or friend in our living mosaic honoring female creativity and the women who have inspired you!

In memory of Manon Cleary

Manon Cleary was wicked and funny, kind and supportive, amazingly talented and insightful. At a time when I all but abandoned photography she shined a light on me. She did this for so many others. Jessika, Pat, Yar, Joan and me and many more. She didn't know anybody when she first came here in 1970, So she enter a piece in an open show at a prestigious art club. They called her to tell her she got runner up. She got runner up in photography for her drawing. 3 artists thought it was a photo. RIP
