Focus on Female Creativity

Help us celebrate the Baltimore Museum of Art’s 2020 Vision initiative and share the story of an artist, a caregiver, a frontline worker, a mentor, or friend in our living mosaic honoring female creativity and the women who have inspired you!

In memory of Betty

Betty Egnoski, Betto, my grandma, was a powerful woman with a creative heart. She found great joy in living a creative life full of beauty. She loved dancing, practicing needlework, ceramics, gardening, and had a vintage jewelry collection to rival anyones. However, Betto would have said that her greatest creation was her family. She raised five incredible daughters, who in turn have raised five daughters, who are all inspired every day by their to be independent, kind, strong, loving, and rebellious women because of Betto.
