The figure wears small ear discs and collar. Breasts are indicated by small nubs, a regional convention. An ankle-length skirt is indicated. The figure was created from a mold which defines the front half of the body. The rear portion of the figure has been modeled, as indicated by the rear portion of the head. This convention is also characteristic of Chorrera ceramics. The figure was once painted with a post-fired pigment (yellow, red visible) that has since deteriorated, possibly due to rinsing. The exterior surface appears salt encrusted. A small firing hole is present at the top of the head. The object is light weight.
