Lauded as a “master” by The Baltimore Sun, keyboardist Lao Tizer and his group will be joined by vocalist Karen Briggs. The jazz violinist extraordinaire has performed with Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, and Wu-Tang Clan.
Renowned saxophonist Don Braden has headlined concerts around the world and been featured with greats such as Betty Carter, Wynton Marsalis, and Freddie Hubbard. Vanessa Rubin will lend her incredible range and liquid phrasing to the night.

For the first time this year, we're pleased to offer a special boxed dinner for jazz guests, prepared for by Gertrude's.
Please place orders with Gertrude’s by Friday at 5 p.m. for the Saturday concert. You may order by phone at 410-889-3399 with a credit card, in person at Gertrude’s or email email@example.com and the restaurant will call you for the payment information.
All prices reflect the 10% BMA Member discount and include sales tax.
Doors open at 6.30pm, and the concerts start at 7.00pm. The VIP Tour starts at 5.30pm.
Sunny Day Tickets
When the skies are clear and the heat mild, the Museum will release more tickets at 1 pm. Call the BMA Box Office at 443-573-1701 for details on the day of the event.
In the event of inclement weather, concerts are held in the Meyerhoff Auditorium. Outdoor Jazz + Dinner reservations must be changed to indoor seating or rescheduled by calling Gertrude’s at 410-889-3399. No refunds or exchanges.
In the event of rain, picnic tables will be provided in the East Lobby. Please plan to eat before the concert or during intermission, as food and drinks are not allowed in the auditorium. Picnic baskets or items larger than 11x 15 inches must be checked at the free coat check during the concert.
