Members Day Trip: The Philadelphia Museum of Art and The Barnes Foundation

Spend an artful day in the City of Brotherly Love with your friends from the BMA. Travel with us to some of the exciting museums that make Philadelphia a top arts destination. This exclusive trip includes tours of both the renowned permanent collection at the Barnes Foundation and a new exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art titled Modern Times: American Art 1910–1950. Travelers can enjoy a delicious lunch offered on the gorgeous East Balcony of the PMA.

Members Day Trip: Brandywine Valley

October 19, 2018

Travel with the BMA into the Brandywine Valley and discover some of the contemporary art found within this historic setting. This relaxing, art-filled trip includes a visit to the Delaware Art Museum where travelers will enjoy a guided tour of contemporary painting and sculpture in the museum’s collection, free time to explore the galleries, and a delicious lunch in the museum’s East Court. In the afternoon, our group will visit the famed Brandywine River Museum of Art to tour the intriguing exhibition Natural Wonders: the Sublime in Contemporary Art and view the collection before returning to the BMA.

This trip departs from the BMA at 8 a.m. and returns at approximately 6 p.m.

Price: Members $200; Member guests $225. Ticket price includes transportation, lunch, entry to Museums, and two guided tours. Payment in full is required for reservations. Tickets on sale May 15.

Parking at the BMA is complimentary on the day of the trip. Traveler pick-up is also available at the Cromwell Bridge Park and Ride.
