Free Family Sundays: Paper Stained Glass

Join us in Fox Court on Sunday, February 12, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a family-friendly workshop inspired by Stanley Whitney: Dance with Me Henri. Make your own paper stained glass creation by mixing, matching, and contrasting different colors.

Teaching artist Safiyah Cheatam will guide you through an exploration of light and shape as you reflect on how music and places convey emotions that can inspire your imagination.

At 3 p.m., stop by the Ruth R. Marder Center for Matisse Studies for a one hour docent-led activity on artist Stanley Whitney’s stained glass windows.

Free Family Sundays is a drop-in, art-making program designed for families with children ages 6–9 or older.

RSVPs are not required. Art-making supplies are provided.
