Bahía artists of coastal Ecuador produced a series of small figures that appear to have rabbit-like ears (nubs, antennae), dot applique eyes, and a porcine snout. The appearance of the head resembles a gas mask and/or horned animal. The torso appears human, albeit idealized. This miniature in brown clay is shown with earrings, and bears incisons at the waist, wrists, collar and ankles. It is perforated at the forehead, suggesting its use as a pendant.
