Sawing to create the space between the legs and back. Drilling to make the suspension holes (biconically); much more shallow on the eyes. Impressions of drill can be seen especially on the bird's left eye. Incising to create the feet detail(Bryan Cockrell, Dumbarton Oaks, 12/11/2015).
