Free Family Sundays: Make a Bead Mosaic

Free Family Sundays are back with free monthly art-making workshops for the whole family. Express your inner artist and explore works from the collection and exhibitions with guest artists and educators.

Join us for a workshop in Fox Court on January 29 from 2–5 p.m. for a hands-on bead mosaic workshop inspired by the ancient Antioch Mosaics. Explore the hidden themes of collaboration, friendship, and connection found in the BMA’s collection of Antioch Mosaics with teaching artist Laverne Miers-Bond.

Stop by Antioch Court from 3–4 p.m. for a docent-led tour experience.

Free Family Sundays is a drop-in, art-making program designed for families with children ages 6–9 or older. RSVPs are not required. Art-making supplies are provided.

Don’t miss out! Sign up for the BMA Families email list to receive more information on all upcoming events.
