The BMA is embarking on an ambitious environmental initiative that includes a series of nine exhibitions that capture the relationships between art and the environment across time and geography, the development of a sustainability strategic plan, and a citywide eco-challenge led by the Museum.

Call for Artists: The JJC Artist in Residence at MICA

The Joshua Johnson Council (JJC) Artist in Residence program is a collaboration between the JJC, the BMA, and the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). The program will select two artists living and working in Baltimore City for this year's summer residency. Apply today!

The BMA offers interactive guided tours for adults that highlight works from across the Museum. Tours include art from around the world made by artists who are Black, Indigenous, people of color, women, or from other historically underrepresented groups.

Located inside of America’s oldest market, BMA Lexington Market honors Baltimore’s rich history in partnership with local organizations and creatives.
