Museum Educator

Education

Erin Allen (she/her) is a Museum Educator at the Baltimore Museum of Art. She joined the BMA in 2022 and is responsible for leading pre-K through 12 educational programming for onsite and virtual audiences. She received her MA in art history from the University of York and BA from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to joining the BMA, Erin supported the education team at the National Museum of Women in the Arts and contributed to the development of new arts programming at the University of Maryland’s Stamp Gallery, where she also curated the 2019 exhibition Radical Threads. In addition to her background in education, Erin is a researcher of decorative art and design with a specific interest in historical craftwork.
