Kim Bountress
Senior Director of Human Resources
Kim Bountress (she/her) has served as Senior Director of Human Resources since July 2019 and oversees the human resource function of the Museum, including recruitment, hiring, performance development, employee relations, and the volunteer and intern program. Prior to that, she served as Director of Human Resources (2011 – 2019). Before coming to the BMA, Bountress was Director of Human Resources at the Living Classrooms Foundation. She holds a BA from University of Maryland, College Park. She previously served as the Board Secretary for Shepherd’s Clinic from 2015–2017 and as a Board Member for CLIA – Youth Voices for Community Change from 2016–2018.
