Malaika Aminata Clements serves as the Manager of Public Engagement and joined the Baltimore Museum of Art in 2019 helping to bring the Museum’s off-campus location, BMA Lexington Market, into fruition. With a background in journalism and a commitment to supporting grassroots efforts, Malaika uses her role to shepherd connection across cultural, institutional, local, and global boundaries by focusing on public accessibility though programming, activities, and activations, in addition to internal company practices.
