Kelly is a performance artist and writer whose work weaves winding, autobiographical narratives through lyrical repetition, staccato passages, and irreverent humor. Her odes to specific sites around Baltimore, Washington, D.C. and beyond imbue sterile spaces with intimate reflections of relationships and affection. In 2016, Kelly co-founded Tender FM, a free, monthly reading series in Baltimore encouraging sustained engagement with poetry by the city’s broader arts community. Kelly received the 2018 Peach Gold in Poetry from Peach Magazine, which was judged by Morgan Parker, and was named Baltimore’s Best Poet in 2016 by Baltimore City Paper. Kelly recently finished her first editorial project with Domain Press called So Since I’m Still Livin’, a free YouTube reader.
