Council Talk & Reception

BMA Council Members are invited to a special talk with Virginia Anderson, Curator of American Art and Department Head, American Painting & Sculpture and Decorative Art, as she shares her insights on the reinstallation of the Museum’s collection of American Modernism (1900-1950), now on view.

Organized along two main thematic groupings, “Identities” and “Technologies,” the installation invites visitors to draw connections among the objects and to contemporary issues and everyday life.

Reception and opportunity to view the collection to follow. Formal invitations will be mailed.
