About the Artists
The mission of MICA’s Community Arts MFA is to realize tangible social change locally and regionally by developing students’ community art practices through community engagement and collective artmaking. The Community Art Collaborative (CAC) is an AmeriCorps program at MICA that prepares artists to facilitate community arts programming during year-long residencies with impactful Baltimore City organizations. The MFACA and CAC programs collaborate to support and expand creative engagement opportunities for MICA students and Baltimore community members and organizations year-round.
