Medicare Simplified
Medicare can be confusing, but in this easy-to-understand, educational presentation, you will learn:
- Who qualifies for Medicare (or Medicaid), how to enroll, and what bills Medicare will cover.
- What the upcoming Annual Enrollment Period (October 15–December 7) is for, and what actions you should take during AEP.
- About the gaps in Medicare and how to fill them.
- How to avoid lifetime penalties when enrolling in Medicare.
- About federal, state, and corporate assistance plans that can reduce your Medicare premiums and prescription costs.
This talk is strictly educational (not a sales pitch): there will be no presentation about or recommendation of any specific Medicare plans. The purpose of this talk is to help seniors better understand how Medicare works and how they can structure a Medicare plan to best fit their needs affordably.

About the Presenter
David Wagenheim has 37 years of experience as an independent Maryland life and health insurance agent. He has assisted hundreds of seniors and offered the Medicare Simplified talk at many area senior centers as well as at many branches of the Enoch Pratt Free Library. He specializes in helping seniors navigate the process of Medicare enrollment.
