Members Day Trip: Brandywine Museum of Art and Longwood Gardens
Join us for a memorable day of art and nature in scenic Pennsylvania! To celebrate our ongoing Meadow project, we’re offering BMA Members and their guests a special opportunity to experience two remarkable destinations where art and landscape are deeply intertwined.
We’ll depart by bus from the BMA at 8:30 a.m. and make our first stop at the Brandywine Museum of Art. There, you’ll have the chance to experience Andrew Wyeth at Kuerner Farm: The Eye of the Earth. This special exhibition highlights Wyeth’s profound, decades-long connection to Kuerner Farm and includes iconic works—such as Karl, Snow Hill, and Wolf Moon—alongside rarely seen pieces from private collections and the Wyeth Foundation for American Art.
Afterward, we’ll enjoy a delightful lunch.
After lunch, we will tour Longwood Gardens. The Longwood Story is a 60-minute stroll that offers an insightful look at the gardens and shares the inspiring story of how one man’s vision blossomed into one of the world’s most celebrated horticultural destinations. After the tour, you will have time to explore the Greater Philadelphia Dahlia Society Show and wander the spectacular gardens at your leisure.
We will wrap up our day with a bus ride back to Baltimore, arriving at the BMA around 5:30 p.m.
