The Making of a Picture Book: There’s a Dragon in the Tree House and He Won’t Come Down!
Join beloved author and illustrator Nancy Patz for a delightful, behind-the-scenes look at how her whimsical picture book There’s a Dragon in the Tree House and He Won’t Come Down! came to life.
Families will step into the creative world of picture-book making as Nancy shares original sketches, studies, and finished illustrations, revealing how words and images come together to tell a story. This interactive, hands-on presentation is designed to spark young imaginations and inspire future storytellers.
The afternoon concludes with an exclusive book signing with the author. This event will be held in the Joseph Education Center’s Insight Lab.
