The BMA galleries and BMA Shop are now open until 9 p.m. every Thursday.
Now you’ll have even more time to linger among the collection, visit ticketed exhibitions, and browse gifts at the Shop.
As part of the Endowment for the Future, launched in 2020, we identified five ways to achieve museum-wide change. These goals included offering free admission for special exhibitions, raising salaries for all staff members, and increasing access to art by expanding our open hours.
With the help of generous funding and support, we are now able to move forward with extended Museum hours one evening per week—a step we hope will help eliminate barriers that may prevent community members from visiting.
While you’re here, take part in our BMA Makers program, which offers free art-making kits and workshops designed for adults. Drop in Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. to pick up an art kit and look out for special programs inspired by works on view and from the collection.
We look forward to seeing you during our new evening hours. Plan your visit.
Extended Evening Hours are generously supported by The Rouse Company Foundation.
